Our Vision
To provide programs and activities offering positive support for Grandparents and other family members raising children, providing them the experience to enrich their role in their children's lives.
Our Mission
To provide support for Grandparents or relatives raising children because of the trauma they experience due to parental substance use, custody issues, and other child-rearing matters.

Here's What We Do!
Where We Meet!
The Bosler Library
158 West High Street
Carlisle, PA. 17013
When:
The First Tuesday of the Month:
10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Like our Mascot, Geri Giraffe, our heads are held high as Grandparents and other Relatives raising children join each month to show support and share our life's stories. We also explore resources that may help us raise our children, such as social service agencies, educational speakers, health and wellness, housing, and other needs we or our children may have.

THERE MUST BE A BOOK IN HERE FOR ME!

I Wonder if the Bosler Library has "Hey Kiddo" by Jarrett Krosoczka Here?

Donna Hale retired from teaching Criminal Justice at Shippensburg University to attend Lancaster Theological Seminary (LTS). After graduating from LTS, she completed Clinical Pastoral Education at Hershey Medical Center. She is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, serving her local church as a "Community Chaplain." She listens to and responds to the requests of local agencies to assist individuals struggling with difficult life situations. Most days, Chaplain Donna listens to the stories of individuals who need compassionate care and guidance. In 2018, Donna saw a need to help people due to the opioid epidemic. She formed a G.R.A.N.D.S. support group and found sponsorships from the Sadler Health Center (Carlisle) and the YWCA Carlisle.
